Programmes

Jim Franklin also performs with other musicians. As a result, he can offer a variety of programmes. These are suitable for churches, museums, galleries, festivals etc.

Solo

  • classical honkyoku (meditative "original pieces" for shakuhachi)
  • contemporary music, including original compositions, and also pieces for shakuhachi and live electronics

Duo combinations

  • Jim Franklin und Hiroko Sugino: "Bamboosound – Encounter of Shakuhachis" – concerts with shakuhachi duo (Jim Franklin and Hiroko Sugino), complemented by theremin and live electronics (Jim Franklin) if desired.
  • Jim Franklin and Christine Högl: "Dialogue of the Heavens" – concerts for shakuhachi (Jim Franklin) and celtic harp (Christine Högl)
