Zen Garden Meditations

Recorded in the Japanese zen garden of the Benediktushof meditation centre in Holzkirchen (near Wuerzburg, Germany), this CD contains eight honkyoku from the lineage of Yokoyama Katsuya and the Chikuho school, including Koku, Ajikan, Shoganken Reibo and Hokyo Koku.
Performed in a natural setting, the pieces are accompanied by the sounds of the garden, notably a variety of birdsong. The booklet texts are in German and English.
